Itinerary
The journey begins with a 3:30 AM meetup at I-8, Islamabad, followed by a 4:00 AM departure for the airport. The group will board a flight from Islamabad to Gilgit (1.5-hour air travel). Upon arrival, a scenic 2.5-hour drive will take participants to Hunza. The group will enjoy lunch at the Rakaposhi View Café, followed by Zip-lining and sightseeing at the Rakaposhi viewpoint. After hotel check-in and a short rest, the day’s exploration continues with visits to Altit Fort and Baltit Fort. The evening will feature dinner and an overnight stay at Karimabad Hard Rock Hotel.
After breakfast at 6:00 AM, the group will set out for a 3.5-hour round trip to Khunjerab Pass via Attabad Lake. After enjoying the views at Khunjerab Pass, the group will have lunch at Yak Grill. The afternoon includes a visit to the Hussaini Suspension Bridge and water activities at Attabad Lake. The evening will conclude with a bonfire, dinner, and an overnight stay at Luxus Hunza or a similar hotel.
Following a 7:00 AM breakfast, the group will hike to the Passu Glacier—a 4-hour round trip with a 1-hour rest break. Afterward, the group will enjoy Trout Fishing at Borith Lake (2 hours). The adventure continues with optional Horse Riding at Passu, visits to the Hussaini Suspension Bridge, and viewpoint stops before heading back to Hunza. The day ends with dinner and an overnight stay at Hard Rock Karimabad Hotel.
The group will begin the day with a 6:00 AM breakfast, followed by a 2-hour drive to Naltar Valley. A jeep ride to the top (1-2 hours round trip) and Canoeing at Satrangi Lake (2 hours) will offer exciting experiences. An Archery session is planned before heading back to Gilgit (1.5-hour drive). The day ends with dinner and an overnight stay at Serena Gilgit Hotel.
After a 7:00 AM breakfast, the group will depart for Shigar, a 5-hour drive. The day’s activities include visiting Shigar Fort and enjoying an organic lunch at the Shigar Village Guest House. If in season, participants may witness a local Ko Polo game, Football Match with Locals or attend the Shandur Polo Festival (July 7-9). The evening will conclude with a traditional Balti Platter dinner and an overnight stay at Serena Shigar Fort.
The group will start with a 6:00 AM breakfast before heading to Katpana for optional Paragliding (subject to weather). A desert Cricket match (1-2 hours) will be organized, followed by lunch at the Shigar Village Guest House. The day will include a return visit to Shigar Fort and, if possible, attendance at the Shimshal Yak Race Festival (late July-August). The day ends with dinner and an overnight stay at Serena Shigar Fort.
After breakfast, the group will depart for the airport, ensuring arrival 2 hours before flight time. The journey concludes with a flight to Islamabad (1.5-hour air travel), marking the end of a thrilling 7-day adventure.
