Itinerary – Chitral Valley Tour
The group will gather at I-8, Islamabad, for a pre-dawn meetup at 12:30 AM, followed by a prompt departure at 1:00 AM by road. After an early morning drive, the first stop will be for breakfast at Chakdara, allowing the group a refreshing break. Continuing the journey with scenic views and occasional snack breaks, the group will reach Chitral after approximately 8.5 hours of travel. Upon arrival, there will be a check-in and rest period at Ayun Fort Inn. In the afternoon, participants will explore the cultural landmarks of Chitral, including a visit to the historical Shahi Mosque, the Chitral Museum, and the Mahtar of Chitral's Fort. The day will wind down with a friendly Football or Cricket Match, followed by a cozy bonfire session. Dinner and overnight stay will be arranged at the Ayun Fort Inn, offering a perfect conclusion to the first day's adventure.
Following breakfast at the hotel at 7:00 AM, the group will set off on a drive to Gol National Park, known for its stunning landscapes and the elusive Markhor. The journey will take approximately 2 hours. Participants will enjoy trekking in the national park and a visit to the famous Markhor Point, an activity lasting about 3-4 hours. After an immersive experience with nature, the group will return to Chitral via a scenic 2-hour drive. For those seeking thrill, the afternoon will offer an opportunity for Paragliding over Chitral’s picturesque landscape, an experience expected to last 1-2 hours. The day will conclude with dinner and a night stay at a comfortable hotel in Chitral.
After a hearty breakfast at 7:00 AM, the group will depart for Garam Chashma, a 2-hour drive through mesmerizing mountain landscapes. The day will be spent enjoying Fishing, Trekking, and Camping in the serene environment of Garam Chashma, activities scheduled for approximately 6 hours. As the evening approaches, participants will check in at Innjigaan Hotel for an overnight stay, relaxing after an active day of outdoor exploration.
The day will begin with breakfast at the Innjigaan Hotel at 7:00 AM, followed by a 3-hour scenic drive to Gabor Valley. The day’s highlight will be a visit to the picturesque villages of Gupti and Eer, where the group will spend 5-6 hours exploring local culture, interacting with villagers, and soaking in the breathtaking landscapes. In the evening, the group will travel back to Chitral and check into a hotel for the night, providing a restful end to another adventure-filled day.
After breakfast at 7:00 AM, the group will commence their return journey to Islamabad, a 7-hour drive with planned refreshment breaks along the way. Before reaching Islamabad, there will be a special stopover at Mabali Island, where participants can enjoy water activities and engage in a friendly Cricket or Football Match for about 1-2 hours. The journey will conclude with the group’s arrival back in Islamabad, marking the end of a memorable 5-day adventure packed with culture, nature, and camaraderie.
